Entry Points

Smith Wigglesworth, Lester Sumrall, Norvel Hayes, Kenneth Haggin, are a few of my spiritual heros who live or have lived in the past 100 years. In 1939 Smith Wigglesworth prophesied to Lester Sumrall about the final wave of Gods glory: “After that, after the third wave,” he started sobbing. “I see the last day revival that’s going to usher in the precious fruit of the earth. It will be the greatest revival this world has ever seen! It’s going to be a wave of the gifts of the Spirit. The ministry gifts will be flowing on this planet earth. I see hospitals being emptied out, and they will bring the sick to churches where they allow the Holy Ghost to move.”

I believe that we are about to begin the fourth wave, the final wave of Gods glory. Miracles, signs, and wonders are following in many churches which operate in the gifts of the spirit and honor the Holy Spirit. It’s one thing to believe that there is a holy spirit and another to KNOW and have RELATIONSHIP with the Holy Spirit. He is part of the God-head and we must honor Him as such. But is there something we have been missing? Something so simple, yet difficult?

While meditating on Romans 6:13 I discovered something interesting.

Romans 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

5 Keys To Experience More of God and Walk in the Super-Natural

Our members are our 5 senses. The 5 keys for the spirit-filled christian (who has received baptism of the Holy Spirit) to experience more of God and walk in the super-natural are:

  1. Your eyes
  2. Your ears
  3. You mouth
  4. Your nose
  5. Your hands

These 5 members are the entry points into all things physical and spiritual. The choices you make concerning them will either bring you into a life of obedience and access to God’s great power, access to all things worldly, or access into the powers of demonic influences.

If we are to experience more of God, then we must yield these things (our members) to the Holy Spirit. Only then will God release the great power which Wigglesworth once spoke to Sumrall.

Step One: Righteousness

For you to become righteous, you must first yield to God with your confession. You can not profess to be a Christian unless you repent of your sins. Repent is defined: feel or express sincere regret or remorse about one’s wrongdoing or sin. If you regret a wrongdoing, you genuinely are saddened by your it and you turn from doing that wrongdoing again. When you repent and accept Christ as Lord, then you are made into a new creation through Christ and become righteous.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

2 Corinthians 5:13 Whoever is a believer in Christ is a new creation. The old way of living has disappeared. A new way of living has come into existence.

1 John 2:15-17 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.
